LCOF wins Pride in Luton 2008 award!

LCOF Executive accepted an invitation from the Herald and Post to attend their "Pride in Luton 2008 Awards Ceremony" on Thursday April 10. It was an amazing evening attended by a large number of Lutonians and their supporters who make a positive contribution to the life of our town.
LCOF was nominated and reached the final in the Safer and Stronger section.
Obviously, it became more exciting than that when LCOF were announced as winners.
What good news for us all.
A certificate and glass plaque now belongs to LCOF.
LCOF Executive says, "we need to celebrate this collectively. Well Done to all of us who have continued to work tirelessly that has made such a public recognition possible."

Everyone enjoyed a great day out in the Faith Woodlands at Maulden Woods, with LCOF providing free refreshments for all. University of Bedfordshire students from the Chaplaincy were grateful for minibus transport, kindly driven by Kim.
