The  13th annual Luton Council of Faiths Faith Walk will take place on Saturday 11th July from 1400 – 1800hrs. Normall, around 100 persons attend but this can vary from around 75 to 150, dependant on weather etc. This year the event is entitled ‘Walking and Riding together’. About 20 young people will be riding pedal cycles, with balloons attached, to promote cycling and a green image. Much of the route will in fact be walked by the cyclists as it is on footpaths and the cyclists will be in touch with the walkers rather than ride off ahead. 2.00 pm to 2.30 pm official launch at Market Hill 2.30 pm Leave the above up Cardigan St to The Sri Guru Ravidass Bhawan.3.30 pm move to Dunstable Rd, turn right over Telford Way on the pedestrian bridge into Bury Park with Sainsburys on the right and on that side of the road. Along Dunstable Road to Waldeck Road, right into Waldeck Road to the URC Church on the corner of Waldeck and Bury Park Roads at 4.00 pm Stop at the Church till 4.30 pm 4.30 pm to the Bury Park Jamiah Mosque, just 50 metres from the Church, for apx 5.00 pm until 5.45 pm, when the event will end and dispersal will take place.
